To have to shell out for a another one is a bitter blow for the unemployed, and a lot of dosh, but it’s a handbag essential and I can’t live without it, so needs must.

Thank heaven’s for rain…

It must be a sign of age, but I could hardly move yesterday after my night on the town. The heady combination of being out, red wine, loud music, high heels and dancing, is just too much of an assault on my senses to have no lasting effect. I spent most of the day lying down in a darkened room and laughing occasionally as I gradually pulled together my evening’s highlights.

I’ve got a caffeine-induced neurosis…and no sandwich filling

But in between? Its’ Sextucation Month at School

So Lesson 1 in Sexducation has been a source of much amusement in our household this week. I know, I know, sex shouldn’t be a laughing matter but if you put 30 eight your olds in a class room and give them pictures of a naked male and female and ask them to label parts of the body, it’s going to be a recipe for hilarity.
